Mobile Game Development
Mobile Game Development for iOS & Android
Arabic-first mobile games built in Unity and shipped to the App Store and Google Play, for players across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the GCC.
Mobile is where the Gulf plays. We build mobile games designed for touch from the first sketch — not desktop games squeezed onto a phone — with the performance, battery, and store realities of iOS and Android baked in from the start.
Buried Games Studio handles the whole mobile pipeline: game design, art, Unity engineering, backend and multiplayer, store optimization, and submission to both the App Store and Google Play. We already have a live App Store release in our portfolio, so we know the review process, not just the theory.

Controls, UI, and onboarding designed for phones and tablets, one-handed where it matters.
Unity engineering
Cross-platform builds from a single Unity codebase for both iOS and Android.
Performance optimization
Frame-rate, memory, and battery tuning across a range of real devices, not just flagships.
Accounts & multiplayer
Player accounts, leaderboards, and real-time multiplayer where the game calls for it.
Store submission
App Store and Google Play listings, assets, and the full submission and review process.

We build mobile games primarily in Unity, with web companions in Next.js when a project needs them.
Our primary mobile engine — one codebase, both stores.
Native iPhone and iPad builds; we've shipped a live App Store title.
Builds tuned for the wide range of Android devices in the region.
Optional instant-play web versions with Next.js.
Our 5-step process
- 01
Discovery
We agree on the game concept, target devices, and a roadmap — typically 1-2 weeks.
- 02
Prototype
A touch-playable prototype on a real device so we feel the controls before full production.
- 03
Production
Art, levels, and systems built in sprints with builds you can install — typically 4-12 weeks depending on scope.
- 04
Optimization & QA
Tested across real iOS and Android devices, with performance and balance dialed in.
- 05
Store launch & live ops
App Store and Google Play submission, launch support, and a plan for updates.
Why work with a GCC studio
Gulf players have specific tastes and devices. A local studio designs for them, not for a generic global average.
Arabic-first UX
Right-to-left mobile layouts and Arabic typography that feel native on the phone.
Regional device knowledge
We optimize for the Android and iOS devices people actually carry in the Gulf.
Same-timezone collaboration
Reviews and decisions during your working hours.

Mobile game development FAQ
Yes. We build in Unity from a single codebase and ship to both the App Store and Google Play, with device-specific optimization for each.
We handle store listings, assets, and the full submission and review process. We've already shipped a live title on the App Store, so the process isn't new to us.
Yes — accounts, leaderboards, matchmaking, and real-time multiplayer. KoutQ8 ships with online multiplayer and AI opponents.
Yes. Arabic is first-class — right-to-left layout and natural Arabic content alongside English, designed for Gulf players from the start.
Usually, though a port is rarely just a rebuild. Touch input has to replace a mouse or gamepad without making the game feel clumsy, UI written for a monitor has to survive a phone screen, and performance budgets tighten sharply. We start with a technical review and tell you honestly whether porting or rebuilding is the cheaper path.
By treating the mid-range device as the target rather than the exception. That means asset and texture budgets set early, draw calls watched during the build rather than at the end, and testing on real hardware instead of a simulator on a fast desktop. Most games that stutter in the Gulf were tuned on a flagship and never checked against what players actually carry.
We wire up store billing and ad networks as part of the build, and we will give you an opinion on the design rather than just the plumbing. Monetisation that interrupts the moment a player is enjoying themselves costs more in uninstalls than it earns — the placement decisions matter as much as the integration.
