Interactive Installations
Interactive Installations & IoT Experiences
Games people step on, jump on, and gather around. We build sensor-driven installations for malls, events, and brand activations across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the GCC — where the floor, the wall, or the booth itself becomes the game.
A screen alone doesn't stop foot traffic in a mall — but a floor that lights up when a child jumps on it does. Buried Games Studio designs and builds interactive installations for clients across Kuwait and the GCC: sensor floors and buttons wired to on-screen games, prize and reward systems, motion-reactive walls, and branded kiosk experiences that run unattended all day.
Because we're a game studio first, the difference shows where it matters: the experience is an actual game with attract loops, suspense, and a win moment — not a sensor demo. And because installations live in public spaces, we engineer them like products: kiosk-mode software that starts from a wall switch, hardware chosen for thousands of plays, swappable parts, and bilingual Arabic-English screens as standard.
What's included
Experience & game design
The interaction itself — session length, attract loop, suspense, win moment — designed for queues, crowds, and first-time players of every age.
Sensors & physical inputs
Pressure pads, floor buttons, motion and distance sensors, and lighting — selected, wired, and tuned for reliability under real public use.
Show software & screens
The on-screen game, synchronized lighting and sound, and bilingual Arabic-English content — built on the same engines we ship games on.
Prize & reward systems
Prize engines with stock tracking and staff dashboards, so the screen never promises what ran out at 4pm.
Kiosk reliability engineering
Auto-start from a wall switch, watchdog recovery, UPS-backed shutdown, and offline-first operation — no venue Wi-Fi dependency.
Install, training & analytics
On-site installation and calibration, staff training, spare parts, and anonymous play analytics with an end-of-run report for the brand.
The stack
Game-engine software driving commodity, replaceable hardware — nothing exotic that can strand an installation mid-campaign.
Our show engine — frame-accurate sync of screen, sound, and lighting.
Pressure, motion, and distance inputs on dedicated controller boards.
Light choreography driven by the game itself.
Media PCs, commercial displays, UPS, and audio integrated as one system.
Our 5-step process
- 01
Concept & venue discovery
The interaction, the space, power, staffing, and run length agreed — and a written scope with the hardware approach.
- 02
Experience design
The full show on paper: attract loop, game states, prize logic, sound, and bilingual screen states — signed off before hardware is ordered.
- 03
Build & integration
Hardware assembled and the game built against it, with fabrication drawings issued to your stand builder where one is involved. Hardware lead times drive the calendar, so they're locked early.
- 04
Burn-in & acceptance
The complete system runs continuously on our bench for days, then you see it working and sign off before it ships to the venue.
- 05
Install, train & support
On-site installation and calibration, staff training with a handover pack, spares in the box, and support options for the run.
Why work with a GCC studio
Installations live in physical venues, and venue realities here are specific: mall rules, bilingual audiences, and campaigns that must not fail on a Thursday night.
Bilingual by default
Arabic-English screens with real RTL — designed for Gulf mall audiences, not translated afterwards.
Built for the venue's rules
Volume limits, safety expectations, staffed operation, and long daily hours are designed in from the first sketch.
Same-timezone support
When a campaign is live, questions get answered during your working day — not overnight.
The engineering behind it
An installation is a game plus real-time systems that cannot fail in public. That engineering is what we ship every day:
Interactive installations FAQ
Sensor floors and step-on games, jump-and-win prize experiences, motion-reactive screens, branded kiosk games, and IoT-driven activations where physical inputs control an on-screen game — for malls, exhibitions, roadshows, and in-store campaigns.
